Potential Volunteers
"WSM values all of our volunteers and could not do important work without them. Here are some examples of the volunteers we continue to onboard throughout the year.
We are looking for licensed medical providers in the state of Michigan (ie MD, DO, NP, PA, RN), that can commit to at least 1 street run a month for a year. Liability coverage may vary on a case-by-case basis. Michigan Medicine resident physicians are also welcome to join us.

We always welcome undergraduate or post-graduate volunteers to help us with client intake, community partnership events, expansion projects and data/research assistance. Undergraduate or post-graduate volunteers do not participate in clinical services unless they are a certified licensed medical provider. All volunteers are required to attend a training session, one session is held in the Fall and Spring semesters, with a potential for a summer training if capacity allows. We may or may not be able to accommodate all additional volunteers and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
